Internet Humor - List of Phenomenons
An Internet phenomenon occurs when something relatively unknown becomes increasingly popular, often quite suddenly, through the mass propagation of media content made feasible by the Internet. Here is a list of some well know phenomenons.

Humor
Humour (humor in American English) is the ability or quality of people, objects, or situations to evoke feelings of amusement in other people. The term encompasses a form of entertainment or human communication which evokes such feelings, or which makes people laugh or feel happy.
Practical Jokes
A practical joke or prank is a situation set up usually to produce what the perpetrator imagines to be a humorous physical outcome at the expense of the target. Since the set-up or deception is generally eventually revealed to the victim, the butt of the joke is thereby made to feel foolish or victimized. It can be argued, therefore, that there is an inherent strain of cruelty in most practical jokes.
Internet Humor
The Internet has long been a resource for the circulation of humorous ideas and jokes. Countless web-sites are devoted to the collection of Internet humour, and every day e-mail crosses the world, containing the text of humorous articles, or jokes about current events.
Toilet Humor
Toilet humor or potty humor is a type of humour dealing with bodily toilet functions. Public reference to bodily functions is taboo in many cultures. This genre also sees substantial crossover with the genre of sexual humour, most likely because of the multiple-function nature of the body parts involved in both genres as well as the sexual fetishism involved with certain toilet functions.
Engrish
Engrish refers to the poor-quality English that is often found in Asian countries. While the term may refer to spoken English, it is more often used to describe written English, for which problems are easier to identify and record. Engrish has been found on anything from badly translated signs, menus, and instruction manuals to bizarrely worded advertisements to strange t-shirt slogans.

Comics
Comics (or, less commonly, sequential art) is a form of visual art consisting of images which are commonly combined with text, often in the form of speech balloons or image captions. Originally used to illustrate caricatures and to entertain through the use of amusing and trivial stories, it has by now evolved into a literary medium with many subgenres.
Cartoons
A cartoon is any of several forms of illustrations with varied meanings that evolved from its original meaning. In modern print media however, a cartoon is a piece of art, usually humorous in intent.
Graphic Novels
A graphic novel is a type of comic book, usually with a lengthy and complex storyline similar to those of novels, and often aimed at mature audiences. The term also encompasses comic short story anthologies, and in some cases bound collections of previously published comic-book series.

Comedy Films
Comedy film is genre of film in which the main emphasis is on humor. It is one of the oldest genres in film, as some of the very first silent movies were comedies. Comedy, unlike other film genres, puts much more focus on individual stars, with many former stand-up comics transitioning to the film industry due to their popularity. While many comedic films are lighthearted stories with no intent other than to amuse, others contain political or social commentary.
Gadgets
A gadget or gizmo is a device that has a useful specific purpose and function. Gadgets tend to be more unusual or cleverly designed than normal technology. In some circles the distinction between a gadget and a gizmo is that a gizmo has moving parts, whereas a gadget need not have them. For example, a nifty digital watch would be a gadget, while an analog watch would be a gizmo.
