Spotcheck GSF Skatepark

It was time to check out the progress on the new bowl in construction at the GSF Skatepark in Oslo, as well as find out what state the skatepark under the bridge was in.

Status

The obstacles are worn down and tagged down, but usable. The surface was smooth concrete, exept from a few rough patches. Some details can be seen in the pictures below.

The area under the bridge had been cleaned a bit since our last visit, but is still pretty dirty. Both skater and board got a bit dusty after just a few minutes of skating.

Also look out for spray cans and spray paint caps left behind by the taggers, as well as some other objects that you might not want to fall on. We still recomend bringing your broomstick.

The Bowl

Construction of the bowl is progressing nicely, and most of the coping were in place when we last visited. Be sure to check back for updates on when it opens.
